Must Know Information

At Your Own Risk.

While QuickPlate is a versatile and innovative product, please note that its installation and use are at your own risk.

We do not accept responsibility for any issues such as missing license plates, dislodged magnets, or broken parts during assembly.

The magnets are extremely strong, so it's important to handle them with care. Do not take them out from the box before installing.

Always keep them separated inside the box. When not in use, store them in the box provided.

Failure to handle the magnets carefully can lead to broken magnets or injuries, such as uncomfortable pinching.

Download and read through the full PDF for all risks.

MAINTENANCE

Magnet Maintenance

Clean the magnets regularly every week using a detergent of your choice. Isopropyl alcohol or brake cleaner are both effective options.

Use a microfiber cloth and ensure that no metal dust or sand remains on the magnet surfaces.

Leaving dirt on the magnets for extended periods can cause rust to form on top of the magnets, especially if you frequently drive in wet or rainy conditions.

BEFORE YOU START

Do not take out the magnets under the warranty sticker before actually starting the assembly. They are fragile and very strong. If they collide with each other, they can break up.

Always triple clean all surfaces thoroughly with brake clean or isopropyl alcohol. The tape won't stick permanently if the license plates have any grease or dirt on them.

Do not use a ratchet or power tools. Tightening the magnets too much can lead to the magnets breaking. Magnets can handle 3Nm of torque.

Always use a minimum of one spacer under the magnet or the double-sided tape. QuickPlate is designed this way. 0 spacers won't allow the magnets to sink in fully to the counter magnets. If you have any questions, reach out to us by sending us an email at helpmebro@carholics.com
