RETURN POLICY
Welcome to Carholics!
Carholics is owned and operated by MaComp Oy.
This return policy forms part of the terms and conditions of purchase of products and/or services from Carholics. By making a purchase with us, you agree to the conditions set out in this policy.
In In this return policy, the words "website" refers to the Carholics website, "we", "us", "our", and "Carholics" refers to MaComp Oy and "user", “customer”, "you", and “your" refers to you, the user and customer of Carholics.
1. RIGHT OF RETURN AND WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
In accordance with applicable consumer protection provisions, Carholics grants all customers the right to return purchased products within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date on which the user, or a third party authorized by the user, physically receives the goods. This right may be exercised without giving any reason, provided that the conditions set forth herein are met. The foregoing does not affect the rights recognized by current European Union legislation, including the right of withdrawal established in Article 9 of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
2. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS
For a return to be valid, the product must be in the same condition in which it was delivered: without signs of use, without alterations, with the labels attached and in its original packaging, complete and intact. The corresponding proof of purchase or receipt must also be included. Carholics reserves the right to refuse any return that does not comply with these conditions or that has been sent without prior authorization.
3. RETURN PROCEDURE
All return requests must be initiated by sending an email to markus@carholics.eu indicating the order number, reason for the return, and any supporting documentation. Once the request has been evaluated, Carholics will notify you in writing if the return has been authorized. If so, specific instructions for shipping the product will be provided, as well as the corresponding return label, when applicable. Returns must be sent to the following address:

Returns that have not been previously authorized by written confirmation will not be accepted. Any package received without authorization will be rejected and returned to the sender.
4. RETURN AND LOGISTICS COSTS
Return costs shall always be borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error attributable to Carholics (defective, incorrect or damaged product in transit). In such cases, the return costs shall be borne by Carholics after evaluation and written confirmation.
- Customers located in Finland will receive an electronic return label that they can use to make the shipment.
- Customers located outside Finland must arrange the return shipment themselves, bearing all associated costs, including customs duties or fees, if any. In such cases, any customs charges not covered will be automatically deducted from the final amount to be refunded.
All return costs must be approved in advance by the customer before the return shipment is made.
5. REFUNDS
Once the return has been received, Carholics will examine the condition of the product and notify the customer if the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be processed using the same payment method used in the original transaction within ten (10) business days. Any additional time it may take for the customer's bank or financial services provider to reflect the refund in their account will not be the responsibility of Carholics. If more than fifteen (15) business days have passed since the refund was confirmed without it being reflected, it is recommended to contact Carholics at markus@carholics.eu for follow-up.
6. FAST PROCESSING
The charge for the “Fast Processing” option is non-refundable once the order has been shipped or if the customer decides to return the product. If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, the customer may request cancellation of the service and a refund of the corresponding charge. If the refund of this fee is approved, the order will lose its priority status and will be processed according to standard times. The request for a refund for this service must be made in writing before the order is shipped.
7. ITEMS EXCLUDED FROM RETURN
Returns will not be accepted for the following products:
- Personalized or custom-made items.
- Personal care products, cosmetics, or similar items.
- Perishable goods or goods with a short expiration date.
- Returned packages (e.g. due to failed delivery attempts or uncollected parcels).
- Hazardous or flammable materials or products containing compressed gases.
- Products purchased on sale or in a final clearance sale.
- Gift cards or digital coupons.
If the customer has any doubts about the eligibility of an item for return, they should contact customer service before making any shipment.
8. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the condition of the products upon receipt. If a defective, damaged, or incorrect product is received, the customer must notify Carholics immediately, sending photographic evidence and a description of the problem to the email address provided. Carholics will evaluate the situation and, if the error is confirmed, will arrange for a replacement, return, or refund at no additional cost, depending on the customer's preference and product availability.
9. EXCHANGES
Carholics does not handle direct product exchanges. The most effective way to request an exchange is to initiate a return in accordance with the terms indicated and place a new order independently once the original return has been approved. This policy applies to both standard products and items purchased with the “Fast Processing” option.
